My 1999 plymouth breeze is burning motor oil what does this mean and how do i fix it?

That means either the piston rings or cylinders is worn or the valve guide seals are bad. Since it is a 99 I would be looking at the piston rings or cylinders. This basically intails rebuilding the engine which will be costly. You may be better off adding oil treatment and 40W oil.My 1999 plymouth breeze is burning motor oil what does this mean and how do i fix it?
u got a bad head gasicit byt the sounds of it. it realy meens time for a new carMy 1999 plymouth breeze is burning motor oil what does this mean and how do i fix it?
Wherew is it burning the oil? If it's leaking out of a seal you can just replace a gasket, no big deal. If your spark plugs are covered with oil when you take them out I would recommend replacing them with new ones and using this car as a trade-in at your local dealer. The engine is shot!
Is it burning it or is it using oil. Any oil spots under the car.

Breeze engines are noted for head gasket oil leaks and for camshaft seal leaks. The camshaft seal(on the passenger side of the engine, behind the timing belt)just falls out and there is a fix for it. When it goes all your oil will pump out in 2 min. Chrysler has a TSB (technical service bulletin)for this.
the head gasket is a real common problem on those cars. is it leaking oil ? if it is leaving a puddle under the car that is probably the problem. this job can be quite costly, depending on where you live and which engine it is it could run $700.00 and up. is the car worth fixing (what kind of shape, how many miles, look good?) if not trade it in. you might check chrysler was fixing some of those under warranty, but very few even though it was a factory defect. all owners of those little chrysler cars should revolt, if i had a car with a major factory defect that i had to pay for repairing myself i would be very angry.
