How much does fixing oil leaks cost?

Well I went over some bump on my car a 2001 Daewoo nubira, and it wasnt till after i got to my friends house that i noticed it was leaking oil badly...then i jsut had to push my car homeHow much does fixing oil leaks cost?
Depends. If you put a hole in the oil pan, then they would have to take it off and fix it. Then they would have to put in on with new oil pan gasket and oil change too. So a oil change may run just $20 at a cheap place. But the labor and everything, I would guesstimate at about $125. Dealer, $300. That is at a small garage, and not at the dealer. Also, you would have to get under and see where the leak is coming from. If something happened and you put a hole in the oil filter, then you are looking at $20 again. If you take the filter off, you might as well do the oil change.

There is a nut on the bottom of the oil pan to let the oil out. See if for some unforeseen reason it got knocked loose. If it is loose, you can tighten it yourself. But if so check later to make sure no leaks are coming from there. How much does fixing oil leaks cost?
Depeneds on where it is coming out of. There is a chance the engine may need to be removed from the car. If it happened going over a bump you likely damaged the oil pan. My suggestion if it is the pan get a used one from a junkyard.
You need to ask someone who can look your vehicle over and give you a repair estimate. If I say $30000, would you take me seriously? How about $30? Or $300. You see, you have no reason to accept an answer except that the number pleases you or not. So, go get an estimate of repair.
you must had busted your oil pan. The oil pan should be around 60-120 bucks adn it's not that much. You could change it yourself and it's not all that hard. Of course, you could take it to the shop and they'll charge you at least $250. Go to a auto shop that you trust or one that your friend trust. Ask the shop how much would they charge you if you were to buy your own oilpan. It should be a bit cheaper if you do decided to go to the shop. well good luck
Check your oil pan and your oil filter for holes. This will tell you if its major or minor.
It realy depends on the problem...It can be as simple as a bad oil pan plug(bolt)-10-20$ or it can be as bad as a blown gasket which can be very expensive because the engine has to be removed and partially dismantled to install the new oil pan gasket in this case you could see a bill of 500-1000$ but could be less depending on the vehicle. Other problems could be a bad head gasket or cracked head both fairly expensive but still not thousands of dollars. In this case since you hit a rough spot in the road I am going to assume that you either broke off your oil plug or cracked your oil pan. If it is a cracked oil pan you could be looking at a 700-1500$ repair ticket.
i own a shop,an you probably busted an oil pan on it,it could cost around 300 to get this one repaired, that should cover parts and labor on it though, good luck i hope this help,s.
a roll of duct tape is about $2.35 at lowes i think. but if it happened when u went over a bump, u probobly jiggled a hose loose. Anyways have fun!!!
It looks like its leaking from the bottom but it could be leaking from anywhere. Fixing leaks can be cheap or expensive. If it's a front seal you could probably do it yourself. If it's a valve cover you could probably do it yourself. If it's a rear seal you'll be spending a lot of money to get it fixed. Another thing you can checkis make sure the oil filter is on tight. Thats it.
