1992 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP has a 3.4 Engine and has a small oil leak from the intake manifold. It uses about a Quart of oil every 3 weeks.
How much will cost to get fixed?
At the shop and if I do it?
Thanks.1992 Pontiac Grand Prix Has Oil Leak from Intake Manifold? Cheap Fix?
Probably the lower intake manifold gasket. They were very prone to leakage. The gasket does not cost much but you have to remove both upper and lower intake manifolds and clean the mating surfaces very good. The labor is what costs you the most. I would estimate $300 to have someone do it. Check the recalls on your car, some were recalled for that problem.
