Just changed oil and received message above on weekend road trip.2003 Chevy Impala...Change engine oil message just came on.. is it simple to fix?
They vary by car but I have a GMC truck and you turn on the key. The change oil light will light. Don't start just turn to on. Press the gas pedal down 3 times within about 5 secs and the light will blink and then reset. If that doesn't work look in the owners manual it will tell you..........................UJN2003 Chevy Impala...Change engine oil message just came on.. is it simple to fix?
put the vehicle in park with the motor running, push the brake pedal 5 times in rapid succession. That should reset the warning light.
