woman or man not a problem u'll ahve to get ur hands dirty to check........see where is the oil leaking from and when u reach the source of leakage then you can probably fix.....it might not be a bigger probe than a loose pipe...if it's coming out of the engine or the carburettor then get it checked by a mechanicMy pegout 306 r reg is leaking oil why is this and can i fix it myself? where is it leaking from? and the simple answer, regardless of sex, is probably no.
it could be simply a case of a loose bolt. look for where the oil is, and check the adjacent bolts... loosy left, and tighty right...
Its leaking because a seal or gasket has blown. If you have had any engineering skill then give it a go, but from the sound of it you haven't a clue, so go to a garage
Gender's got nothing to do with it. It just depends where it's leaking from, that's the first thought. Might be something as simple as a loose pipe clip, which you can tighten with a screwdriver. On the other hand it might be something simple that no-one can get to without the arms of an ape and universal joints on their elbows - or alternatively a hoist. Or it might be something more complicated that needs a mechanic's tools %26amp; expertise. Don't know until we establish the source.
could be a number of thing......head gascet, cracked sump, you`ll have to take it to a garage or get someone who knows what they`re looking for
