Ive spilt oil on my fone it has gone into the speakers how can i fix it?

the sound still works but not very loudIve spilt oil on my fone it has gone into the speakers how can i fix it?
Leave the phone, speaker down, with blotting paper underneath for 24 hurs and that *may* fix it - that's what I'd suggest if someone spilt liquid on their laptop...
