Drain all the oil and add fresh oil. Any remaining moisture will boil and be vaporized once the engine is run up to temp. Most people arent aware that there is always some moisture in your oil. The constant heating up and cooling down causes condensation inside the engine and oil pan, but everytime the car is brought up to operating temperature the moisture is boiled out of the oil. A Fresh oil filter and new oil will do the trick.Someone sabotaged my friends car by adding water to the oil. How can this be fixed?
Unless the engine is already damaged, release the oil, then flush the engine thoroughly, then refill with fresh oil - and hold those 'friends' responsible!Someone sabotaged my friends car by adding water to the oil. How can this be fixed?
just drain all the oil out and put new in... unless youre friend has already ran the engine and overheated it... then youre basically screwed cause you need a new engine and all that good stuff...
drain all the oil out, put new oil in. Drive it around till it gets to operating temp (maybe little longer) then drain that out, and put new oil in. Should be fine after that. Although you might need to get it flushed out.
IF engine already overheated, then you will need to do some major work, like remachine block, etc
you have to flush the motor with an engine flush kit.
