How is a motor oil leak in a car fixed?

What and how do they do it?How is a motor oil leak in a car fixed?
Depends on where the leak is coming from. It could be a 50 cent washer for the drain plug, or it could be a leaky rear main seal, which is BIG TIME labour intensive to replace, and would set you back about $600.00 or so. Hope this helps answer your question. How is a motor oil leak in a car fixed?
Replace the bad gasket.

It depends on what is leaking, but most engine oil leaks are either bad gaskets, loose oil filter or drain plug or a bad freeze plug.
THE REPAIR WOULD DEPEND ON WHAT IS LEAKING, THE MOTOR CAN LEAK OIL FROM MANY DIFFERENT PLACES, SOME ARE EASY CHEAP FIXES AND OTHERS A MAJOR EXPENSIVE FIXXES
find the location of the leak and replace or tighten the bad part.

I.E. gasket leak, seal leak, oil pressure sender. It may be very inexpensive or very expensive

good luck
