I have a 92 Tracker Pro 17 with a 1994 Mercury 45 Jet engine, The oil buzzer started going off one day on the water Beep beep beep, The alarm sounds even with the engine turned off and the key in the on position, I replaced the Oil alarm module, and know the horn has stopped all together, I even tried putting the old one back on. still I don't even get the single beep at start up, So i replaced the buzzer itself and the ingnition switch still getting nothing, The engine still works fine, but I'm afraid to use it. HELP?My oil alarm has stopped working, Can't seem to fix it?
#1- is the sensor(oil pressure) part of the alarm module? If not, did you replace it, too?#2-re-wire the circuit?- key ON(or ACC.)to fuse, to buzzer +/in, -/out to sender/module (-).-Since you already bought 'em, use NEW sender-module / buzzer / switch. When working, should alert w/key ON engine OFF, and stop at start-up when you get oil pressure. Might also want to install mechanical oil pressure guage-low oil will make it fluctuate 10-20 psi.
