Does putting peanut butter on our cds help fix scratches and prevent new ones from occurring (fron the oil)?

No. You prevent scratches from not setting it down anywhere but the player or the case, and not touching it. You fix scratches by polishing with kit you can purchase at almost any department or mass-merchandise store.Does putting peanut butter on our cds help fix scratches and prevent new ones from occurring (fron the oil)?
I use Brasso - it works.Does putting peanut butter on our cds help fix scratches and prevent new ones from occurring (fron the oil)?
No it doesn't help. Didn't for me!
I heard rub a dryer sheet over the CD.

The wax or whatever from the dryer sheet is supposed to fix the scratches.

Never tried it.
No use toothpaste it really does work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've never tried but I've used a crayon and it worked. Just scribble a crayon over the scratches and wipe off the excess and voila...brand new c.d.
no, it will not help- and could hurt your cd player-
I've heard the same thing with toothpaste, and tried them both.

Neither worked.
good old fashioned toothpaste. not the gel type.
Just a hoax.
those have got to be the dumbest ideas that i have ever heard. you just need to get a cleaning %26amp; repair kit for like $15. that will fix all of your problems
