Help fixing a major oil leak.?

I have a Toyota Matrix 2005 auto. Recently my car is having a major oil leak. Oil level full comes to very low in about 4-5 days. I tried to put paper under car to spot the leak. But spots were on many places. I started the car and scroled under the car and found out that there is


a major leak just over the oil filter where a electric wire connects to the housing of oil filter. I was wondering that area should not have oil because it is a electric cable connection. But it starts dripping as soon car starts. I unplug the cable connection from that point and saw that there is a female electric plug there for electric connection. Its made of plastic. Can someone tell me what could be the problem. Why oil is leaking from that point as there should be no oil there as that is not a oil pipe. What could be bad. Oil filter was changed last week by professional place and they said that your car has no oil and it might be leaking from drain plug. But i checked throughly drain plug does not leak.Help fixing a major oil leak.?
Sounds like an electronic oil pressure sending unit that might be cracked or loose.It will need to be changed or plug it off!Help fixing a major oil leak.?
as above stated, sounds like the oil pressure sending unit. could be loose or cracked. not an expensive part. see if it is loose, if so snug it up, if not, replace it with a new one.
