give me like around how much it should cost and its eclipse mitishbushiIs an oil leak a serius thing on a car can it be fixed? and is it expensive if so give me a price? mits eclips?
It depends where the leak is an how bad it is.

If you keep waking up to an oil stained driveway first try to locate the leak, it might just be the sump plug (bolt with a washer on the bottom of the oil pan) needs to be tightened or a new washer (less than $10 and 10 mins of your time).

It could be the oil filter (a domed protrusion on the side of the engine block, usually drivers side) is not on correctly in which case try tightening the filter.

If your problem is smoke in the exhaust then your seals in the engine maybe waring, take it to a mechanic for evaluation.

Finally if you're engine is just loosing oil when you check the level and there are none of the above symptoms then the engine is just burning the oil cleanly in the engine, I had an old 2000 Toyota do this and it is not that bad for the car, you just need to check the oil level each week and keep a couple of pints of oit on you to top up the level between oil changes. Is an oil leak a serius thing on a car can it be fixed? and is it expensive if so give me a price? mits eclips?
As long as its not a fast leak your fine. Engines use oil over time, but only small amounts unless a major leak is present.

To fix it make sure to change your oil every 7000-10,000km use a thicker oil if the engine has alot of millage.

Get all the oil seals done. Usually the oil pump seal, cam shaft seals, distributor seals and cam cover gasket.

Shouldn't be expensive probably about 100bucks for the seals but the labour for a mechanic is whats going to cost you. Maybe 200-400.

You will also lose fractions of oil if you high rev your engine too hard, say near red lining it all the time.
If your car runs completely out of oil the engine will cease.Take it 2 a garage and get it checked.SHOULDNT COST 2 MUCH.
it could be a minor thing, like a leaky gasket, or a serious problem, like a cracked metal part. Even a gasket repair can sometimes be relatively expensive, depending on where the gasket is and how much stuff has to be taken apart and put back together to fix the problem.

An older car with a minor leak from a gasket is not the end of the world, as long as the amount of the loss is small and you keep a good watch on your oil levels. If you are adding oil on every gas fillup, it is not a minor problem and you should get it fixed before something really bad happens.
There is no way we can say how much it will cost because there are different places it could be leaking from.
