Does anyone have a mazda 3, which has a knocking tapids noise, is it the oil, how can it be fixed?

What year and what mileage is your 3? No known issue with the 3 which is why the majority of our new line is derived from something from the 3. Mazda is great with customer car we will send a technician from California to diagnose a problem a dealer can't seem to pinpoint.Does anyone have a mazda 3, which has a knocking tapids noise, is it the oil, how can it be fixed?
goto a auto parts store and get ya a can of seafoam and change oil and put entire can into oil then top it off with oil this should stop the problem the lifters are stickingDoes anyone have a mazda 3, which has a knocking tapids noise, is it the oil, how can it be fixed?
I don't know if this engine has hydraulic lifters or not, but if it does it may be air has gotten into the hydraulic chambers that control and adjust the lifter. This can happen if the motor oil gets too low or if the lifters are starting to wear.

They can be tested by removing the valve cover and then pushing on the lifter. If the lifter feels ';spongy'; then air is trapped in the hydraulics.
Noisy tappets are usually due to a couple of things, either the lifters themselves are shot!! or sometimes if you change your oil and filter fhis will fix the problem!! try the least expensive first!!!!
