Buy a new dip stick.I had my oil changed and the vendor noticed the at dipstick dislodged from the base. How can I fix this?
If its come off and is lodged in the tubing. First its the problem of ur vendor to get it out. But rather than make a fuzz over it take a pair of long nose pliers and reach down and get it out. Then do what the first person that replied to your question told u to do. Go buy a new one.
When you say dislodged, do you mean from the block, cause that usally means that you have to drop the oil pan to remove and install a new one, If its just the stick, then you can just buy a new one. What kind of car do you have? you can messange me, I check my messages every day after work.
