i have no split ends but my hair is very dry and not shiny. will it work??
i have 2 hair oils:
dabur amla hair oil (it's indian so idk if you've heard of it)
pure coconut oil
which one to use??
does it really help your hair over time??Does hair oil help improve damaged hair or is it just a temporary fix??
It's a temporary fix. Your hair is damaged and there's not really anything that will magically repair it. The oil will help keep it moisturized. Use good quality shampoos and conditioners, and try not to use styling products that contain alcohol. That will further dry your hair. Also, steer away from heat styling. Don't use a curling or straightening iron and only blow-dry when it's necessary. Only shampoo every 2 or 3 days. Shampooing daily strips your hair of its natural moisture. Eventually the new hair growth will replace the damaged strands. And if you care for the new growth properly, it should stay healthy. I found a Hair Emulsion Oil from a company called DHC. (It's a Japanese company that uses natural and organic ingredients.) Their website is dhccare.comDoes hair oil help improve damaged hair or is it just a temporary fix??
It will not hurt but very hard to get out. You should see a professional stylist an get a conditioning treatment.
mix em half and half. And it's just a temporary fix, the amount of time depend on what you do. It will moisturize and add shine, but make sure you wash your hair atleast every 2-3 days. I would suggest 1) putting a clean towel in the dryer to heat it up
2) Section your hair and apply a generous amount of oil all through
3) pull the towel directly from the dryer and wrapo it around your head. The heat will help the process. You can also warm the oil too, in the microwave or something. Maybe like 20 seconds, be careful with that though.
4) wash your hair once but well. apply conditioner too.
My experience form hair oil is that it is a temp. fix. I have dry hair as well and when i use any kind of oil for the hair, the result last about a week or so. To answer you question, I would have to respond with a temp. fix.
